Detective Derek Cruff has been with the West Fargo Police Department since 2001 and joined the investigations team in 2006. He also is a Firearms Instructor / Armorer.

Detective Trent Stanton has been with the West Fargo Police Department as a patrol officer since 2006.  Stanton joined the investigations team in 2011.  Stanton is a negotiator with SWAT and a Field Training Officer.

Detective Tim Runcorn has been with the West Fargo Police Department as a patrol officer since 2001.  Runcorn previously served as an investigator from 2004-2007 and is currently doing another investigation rotation.  Runcorn's additional activities include the Bomb Team, Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) Officer, Field Training Officer.

Investigations also administer the warrants and registered offender programs.
