The West Fargo Police Department has received numerous notifications of a text message that appears to notify individuals through Fargo Public Schools that their card has been deactivated. When calling the number to reactivate the card individuals are prompted to give there Bank Card information and PIN number through an automated message. The West Fargo Police Department reminds people to not give out their private information to any company they are not familiar with.

RSS Icon West Fargo Police Department Becomes Prescription Drug Dropoff Location 12/21/2009 West Fargo Police become a drop site for the North Dakota Attorney General's new program "Take Back" , which provides permanent prescription drug disposal containers in a number of cities, Bismarck, Minot, Fargo, Grand Forks and now West Fargo. Residents of those cities and surrounding communities can safely dispose of unused prescription drugs in the permanent Take Back disposal containers located in the lobby of the local police departments in those cities.
